Objective: This study examines the level of occupational and interpersonal conflicts among teachers and the strategies employed to resolve and manage them in primary schools.
Methodology: The research utilized a descriptive-correlational method with an applied purpose. The statistical population included teachers from districts 1 and 2 in Sanandaj, from which 305 individuals were randomly selected as the sample based on the Morgan table. Data collection instruments included three standardized questionnaires on occupational conflict, conflict resolution, and organizational communication conflict management.
Results: Findings revealed that teachers perceive the level of occupational conflicts in schools as generally high. Additionally, teachers employ methods such as dialogue, negotiation, and communication management to address these conflicts. These results align with previous studies, including those by Kellogg (2024), Outko (2018), Be-Afarin (2022), and Grant (2019). Furthermore, the findings emphasize that effective conflict management can improve the work environment, reduce tensions, and enhance job satisfaction among teachers.
Conclusion: This study provides a comprehensive insight into occupational conflicts and effective management strategies, serving as a valuable resource for educational managers and policymakers to improve the quality of educational environments.
